Built on Precision. Driven by Metallurgy.
For over 25 years, KT Metals has supplied RP Solder™ — high-purity solder alloys and flux formulations to manufacturers who cannot afford to compromise on quality.
From a single alloy to a global catalog
KT Metals was founded with a single conviction: that the quality of a solder joint is only as good as the alloy behind it. Starting with a focused range of tin-lead wire, we built our reputation one specification at a time — earning the trust of electronics assemblers, automotive suppliers, and industrial manufacturers across Asia and beyond.
As the industry transitioned to lead-free manufacturing, we invested heavily in metallurgical research and production infrastructure. Today our catalog spans SAC305, SN100C, and a range of specialty alloys, all manufactured to IPC and J-STD standards with full traceability from raw material to finished product.
We remain a focused, specialist manufacturer — not a distributor. Every alloy we sell is produced in our own facility, giving us complete control over purity, consistency, and lead times.
Precision at every stage
In-house Alloying
Raw metals are sourced, assayed, and alloyed in-house to exacting purity standards. No third-party blending.
Wire Drawing
Multi-pass wire drawing lines produce diameters from 0.3mm to 3.0mm with ±0.01mm dimensional tolerance.
Paste Formulation
Controlled-environment paste mixing ensures consistent powder distribution, viscosity, and flux activation across every batch.
Flux Chemistry
Our in-house chemists develop and qualify flux formulations for wave, selective, and hand soldering applications.
Quality Testing
Every batch undergoes XRF alloy verification, wetting balance testing, and dimensional inspection before release.
Custom Alloys
Bespoke alloy development for specialized applications — from low-temperature bismuth alloys to high-reliability silver-bearing grades.
Certified. Compliant. Traceable.
ISO 9001:2015
Quality management system certified across all manufacturing and supply chain operations.
RoHS Compliant
Full compliance with EU Directive 2011/65/EU on restriction of hazardous substances in electrical equipment.
IPC J-STD-006
All solder wire and bar alloys meet IPC J-STD-006 requirements for electronic grade solder alloys.
IPC J-STD-004
Flux products classified and tested to IPC J-STD-004 flux requirements for soldering applications.
